When I rent a dumpster, can I keep it in the street?
While we can deliver your dumpster rental to the street, you’ll need to contact the city of Hendersonville’s Public Works Department ahead of time to see if you need a permit. We recommend keeping your roll off container on private property, as long as you have space. Driveways and designated waste areas on construction sites are the most common delivery spots. Just make sure the area you choose is a flat, paved surface. Get in touch with our team if you have questions about permitting or choosing a delivery spot.
How should I load my roll off container?
Don’t throw heavy debris over the side of your dumpster rental. Instead, safely carry these items through the swinging door. This will help you stack debris neatly to maximize the space. Try to spread large items throughout the bin to distribute weight evenly. Before you schedule a pickup, check that debris is below the fill line, not draping over the sides of the roll off dumpster. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
