Can my dumpster rental go in the street?
Yes, we can deliver your roll off dumpster to the street if the area is flat and paved. However, you may need to get a permit ahead of time to keep your bin in a public right-of-way. Check with the town of Kingston's Streets, Trees & Parks Department for permitting information. Be sure to get your permit after you order your dumpster and before it's delivered. What should I do if it rains while I’m renting a dumpster?
Cover your dumpster rental with a tarp if a storm rolls in during your rental period. Secure the tarp with bungee cords or straps so it doesn't blow away. Standing water and absorbent materials, like carpet and dirt, could add weight to your roll off container. Each of our dumpsters has a weight limit, and going over this limit results in a per-ton overage fee. Covering your bin should help you avoid these fees due to rainwater. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
