Zimmerman Dumpster Rental Filling Help

When it comes to filling your dumpster, there are a few things you must keep in mind. The first is, you must not overfill the dumpster. When you rent a dumpster from Budget Dumpster, you will be told how much weight the roll-off dumpster can hold. Normally, if you fill the dumpster correctly, you will not go overweight. We are not able to pick up a container with items sticking out of the top or hanging off of the sides. All trash must be flush with the top of the waste container. If we arrive at your property for a pickup and the dumpster is overfilled, you will be charged a fee and we will not be able to collect the container. If the waste container fills quicker than you expected, simply call our customer service center and order an empty and return service. This means, we will come collect your container, empty it and then bring it back. As soon as you are finished filling your container, give us a call and we will come out to your property and collect it.

Another great thing to keep in mind while you are filling your waste container is to make sure you are filling the dumpster as evenly as possible. It is important to not fill the container more on one side than the other side. You can utilize the side door on the roll-off to walk or wheel items into the container. If you have any trouble with this door, call us and we can have one of our experienced staff members walk you through this process. Please do your best to fill the dumpster as evenly as possible because an unevenly filled container can cause damage to our trucks and sometimes it can damage the container itself. You will find more specifics about filling the container in the email we will send you once you place your order with us over the phone. Where Does My Trash Go?

Every bit of waste we collect from our Zimmerman dumpster rentals is taken to a waste processing facility near the St. Cloud area. We usually take our trash to transfer stations, which serve as a drop-off point for garbage trucks of all kinds. These sites allow for less waste to be sent directly into landfills because they can easily sort out recyclable items. At these types of transfer stations, they can usually sort easily recyclable items such as glass, plastic, and aluminum from the trash. Once they determine which items can be recycled, they take the rest of the trash to nearby landfills. These landfills are usually located outside of town, far away from populated areas. The trash in the landfill will eventually be covered with soil or plastic, preventing nasty odors from entering our air. Dealing with the rep, Kendra, was great... very thorough, and available for questions as they came up. My one problem with the experience was we provided wood for the delivery folks to put under the dumpster to prevent scratching the Williamsburg-style aggregate driveway. They did a great job delivering the dumpster and used the wood provided, but the pick-up folks scratched the driveway while removing the dumpster.
