Do I need to be present for my dumpster delivery?
You do not need to be on-site for your roll off dumpster delivery, unless your property is gated and would need to be unlocked for our driver. Just make sure the spot you’ve chosen for the dumpster is open and clear for the entire day. If the roll off container will be in your driveway, you should park your cars on the street or in your garage. Your dumpster rental may be able to be placed on the street, but you will need a Right-of-Way Waiver from the Village of Vernon Hills. On construction sites, simply keep the delivery area clear of any equipment or debris.
What items cannot go in my dumpster rental?
While we accept most types of debris, certain materials are not allowed to be disposed of using a roll off dumpster in Vernon Hills. Paint, liquid wastes, pesticides, batteries, motor oil and tires are not allowed in your dumpster because they may pose a significant safety hazard or could damage the container. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
