Where should my roll off dumpster go?
Find a spot for your dumpster rental that’s flat, paved and close to your work area. Driveways are usually best for home-based projects, while construction sites should have a designated waste and recycling area. Move all vehicles and equipment away from the drop-off spot, and be sure our driver can get to it easily. The town of Wilmington doesn’t allow street placement for bins. Should I cover my dumpster rental?
Cover your roll off dumpster when you’re done working for the day or if there’s rain in the forecast. Leaving it open when not in use could lead to neighbors throwing items inside. Additionally, allowing rain or snow to accumulate in your roll off container will increase its weight. This is particularly true if you’re tossing absorbent materials, like dirt or carpet. When you rent a dumpster, your quote will include a weight limit. Going over this limit results in extra fees. We recommend covering your bin with a tarp secured with tie-down straps or bungee cords.

2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
