Can my roll off dumpster go in the street?
Yes, we can put your dumpster rental in the street if needed. But you'll need to get a Temporary Encroachment Permit from the city of Belmont's Public Works Department ahead of time. If you have room on your private property, we recommend having your roll off container delivered there. Wherever you have your bin placed, make sure it's a flat, paved area convenient to your workflow and accessible to our driver. When I rent a dumpster, how should I load it?
The safest way to load your roll off dumpster is to begin with your heavier and bulkier items first. Walk them in through the loading door, and spread them evenly throughout the bin to efficiently use the space. Or, you can roll in your materials with a wheelbarrow. Once your larger items are in the roll off container, you can toss lighter items in over the sides, or walk them inside to fill in any empty spaces. For a successful pickup, make sure none of your items are sticking out of the top or over the sides of the dumpster.

2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
