What should I do to prepare for my roll off dumpster?
Clear the delivery spot of any cars, debris or equipment. On the day of delivery, unlock and open gates to your property so our driver can reach the drop-off point. Some renters like to mark the delivery location with traffic cones or plywood. If you plan to keep your roll off dumpster in the street, apply for an Encroachment Permit with Santa Clara County’s Roads and Airports Department. Is it a problem if it rains during my dumpster rental period?
Because rain can soak through absorbent debris and weigh it down, a storm could potentially overload your dumpster. Exceeding your container’s weight limit will result in an extra fee. To avoid this, cover the top of your roll off dumpster with a waterproof tarp. Secure it to the sides of the bin using bungee cords. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
