What should I do before my dumpster rental arrives?
Once your roll off dumpster rental is on the schedule, you'll need to make sure the drop-off area is clear of any obstacles. If you plan on keeping the container in your driveway, move any vehicles into your garage or park them on the street and make sure any gates are left open. On construction sites, just keep the delivery area free of any equipment or debris.
Do I need to cover my container if it rains?
Heavy rain can fill your roll off dumpster with standing water and saturate your debris, making them heavier than normal. Covering the bin during a storm will help you keep your materials dry and stay within the weight limit for your dumpster rental. The easiest way to cover your container is to throw a tarp over the top and secure it using bungee cords or tie-down straps so the wind doesn't blow it away.
Where will my dumpster rental be dropped off?
Choose a flat, open area for your dumpster rental delivery, such as a parking lot or driveway.
