Do I need a permit for my roll off dumpster?
Yes, you'll need a Temporary Storage Container/Dumpster Permit from the city of Cohoes' Building & Code Department. You need this permit to keep your bin on private property or in the street. If you plan to keep your roll off container in the street, you'll also need a Barricade Permit. Be sure to get your permits after you've ordered your dumpster but before it's delivered.
