What if it rains during my dumpster rental period?
Cover your bin if you’re expecting storms while renting a dumpster. Secure a tarp over the top with bungee cords or tie-down straps. If you don’t, standing water will pool in the bin and make your load heavier. This is especially true if you’re tossing dirt, carpet and other absorbent materials. Where is a good place to keep my roll off dumpster?
Pick a delivery spot that’s flat, paved and convenient for your workflow. Your driveway is usually the best option for home cleanouts and improvement projects. On construction sites, we should place the roll off container in a designated waste area away from equipment and other potential obstacles.
