Where should my roll off dumpster go?
Pick a flat, paved spot for your roll off container. Your driveway is best for a home-based project. For construction sites, choose a waste and recycling area away from large debris. Make sure your drop-off spot is free of any vehicles, equipment or other obstacles. If you need to keep your dumpster rental in the street or other public area, you may need a permit before we can deliver it. Contact the town of Wayland’s Department of Public Works for more information. We’ll help you pick a drop-off spot when you rent a dumpster.
Do I need to be present for my dumpster rental delivery?
You don’t need to be present for delivery of your roll off dumpster, unless you’re needed to open a gate or remove an obstacle. In gated communities, we’ll request the gate code so our driver can enter if you’re unable to be there. Be sure to clear the drop-off area of obstacles, like low-hanging wires or basketball hoops. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
