When I rent a dumpster, can it go in the street?
We can deliver your dumpster rental to the street, but you’ll need a Right-of-Way Permit from Fitchburg’s Department of Public Works. After you’ve placed your order, be sure to get the permit before we deliver your bin. You don’t need a permit to keep your roll off dumpster on your property. Any flat, paved surface, such as your driveway or private construction site, is an ideal delivery spot. Contact our team for more placement tips.
Should I cover my dumpster rental when it rains?
Cover your roll off container if you’re expecting rain during your cleanup. The easiest way to cover your bin is with a tarp secured with bungee cords or straps. Rainwater can soak absorbent materials like dirt and upholstered furniture, increasing the weight of your load. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
