Where should I keep my dumpster rental?
You need to keep your roll off dumpster on a flat, paved surface. Your driveway is ideal for household junk removal projects. On a jobsite, a designated waste area away from equipment works better. What should I do if it rains while I’m renting a dumpster?
If there's bad weather during your dumpster rental period, cover your bin with a tarp. Secure the tarp with bungee cords or straps so it doesn't blow away. If left uncovered, rainwater can pool in your container and soak absorbent materials, making them heavier. Each of our roll off dumpsters has a weight limit, and going over that limit results in a per-ton overage fee. By covering your bin, you should avoid any rain-related fees. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
