Do I need to get a permit to rent a dumpster?
If you plan on keeping your dumpster rental on a public road, you will need to get a permit to block the right-of-way. Most renters avoid this by parking their roll off dumpster in a driveway or private parking lot. Otherwise, contact the city of Green's Zoning Division Office to get more information about applying for a permit.
What should I do if it rains while I have my roll off dumpster?
If you expect it to rain, you should cover the top of your dumpster rental with a tarp or another waterproof covering of some kind. Rain can weigh down your debris, which may result in a higher weight. Remember, if you go over your weight limit, you could face an extra fee. Make sure your covering is secured so it does not blow away or collapse inwards. Once the rain has passed, you can remove the covering and resume your cleanup as normal.

2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
