Can I keep my roll off dumpster on an incline?
Generally, we can't place roll off containers on hills. If an incline is steep enough for you to use the parking brake in your car, it's not safe for a dumpster rental. Our driver requires a flat, paved surface to ensure a successful delivery. Your driveway is usually best for residential projects, and commercial contractors should have the bin in a designated waste area away from potential obstacles. Street placement is possible too, but you'll need a Temporary Use Permit from the city in advance.
What if it rains while I'm renting a dumpster?
If a storm rolls in over Lake Elsinore during your dumpster rental period, cover the container to keep your debris dry and avoid overage charges. This is especially important if you're tossing dirt, upholstered furniture and other materials that get heavier with excess moisture. Remember your bin has a weight limit, and exceeding it will result in extra fees. We recommend securing a tarp over the roll off dumpster with straps or bungee cords so the wind doesn't blow it away.
