Can I keep my dumpster rental in the street?
Yes, the city of Boise lets homeowners and contractors keep their roll off containers in the street near their work area. But you need a Temporary Use Parking Permit before we can park your bin in any public right-of-way. Get your permit from the city after you rent your dumpster but before it’s delivered. If you don’t want to go through the application process, we can park your roll off dumpster on private property without a permit. Contact us for help picking a drop-off spot for your container.
What should I do before my roll off dumpster arrives?
Before we drop off your dumpster, clear the area of obstacles and make sure it’s accessible for our truck. If you’re keeping your roll off container in your driveway, move any vehicles to your garage or the street. For construction sites, keep the drop-off spot free of equipment or debris. Be sure to open any gates to your property ahead of time. While not necessary, you can set cones or plywood on your driveway to mark where you want your bin placed. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
