What are the filling requirements for a dumpster?
This depends on the dumpster in question. At Budget Dumpster, we have a few things we would like you to keep in mind when you are filling that roll-off rental. You will hear all of these again before confirming your order with us, but we would like to have them available to you here as well. Most importantly, and regardless of the type of refuse you are going to be disposing of, we ask that you are filling your waste container evenly. This means that you are not letting one end of the dumpster become filled any higher than the other end. This would result in the weight of your rental being uneven and our driver being unable to load the unit back onto the flatbed truck. Avoid these issues by utilizing the door on each unit to spread the refuse around evenly throughout the container.
For general household and construction debris, we ask that you are filling your open-top until the debris is level with the height of the walls. This means that you have not let any of the waste stick out beyond the dimensions of your dumpster. Different dumpster sizes are going to have different dimensions, so fill yours until the refuse is level with the walls. For heavy debris, please do not fill your waste container any more than halfway. This is due to the incurred weight of these substances. And if you are going to be disposing of more than one type of heavy debris, please rent your dumpsters accordingly. Unfortunately, we cannot allow you to mix various forms of heavy debris into the same dumpster.
