How soon can my dumpster rental arrive?
Typically, we can have your roll off dumpster on-site within one to three business days, depending on availability of your selected size. If you know you’ll need a dumpster rental further in advance, you can call us to schedule delivery a few weeks ahead of time. You don’t need to be present for delivery, but you do need to ensure the drop-off area is clear of all obstacles before your bin arrives.
Why do some materials cost more to throw away in a roll off dumpster?
Some materials require additional processing by the hauler and landfill, increasing disposal costs no matter how you get rid of them. In Norwood Young America, these items include appliances, electronics, mattresses, box springs, small motorized equipment and upholstered furniture. While we can take a wide range of debris types, from household junk to concrete and asphalt, there are items that are never allowed in a dumpster. Prohibited items include tires, oil, paint, railroad ties and other hazardous materials.
Where should I keep my dumpster rental?
Your roll off dumpster should be placed on a flat, firm area, such as a parking lot or driveway. You may also be able to place your container in the street, though you'll need to apply for a Right-of-Way Permit from the city of Norwood Young America. How Our Rental Process Works
1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
