When will my dumpster rental be delivered?
When you call us to rent a dumpster, we’ll work with you to schedule a drop-off date that works for your timeline. Typically, we can have your roll off container on-site within one to three business days, depending on availability of your selected size. You don’t need to be present for the delivery, though you should make sure the drop-off area is clear of any cars or obstacles.
Do I need to cover my roll off dumpster?
While it’s not required, covering your container with a tarp during storms can help you avoid adding weight to absorbent materials, or getting standing water in the bin. Exceeding your container’s maximum weight limit may result in additional charges. In addition, any roll off dumpster that’s placed on the street in the Minneapolis area must be covered with a tarp while not in use.
Will I need a permit for my dumpster rental?
If you want to keep your dumpster rental on the street, you may need a permit since it will be placed in the public right-of-way. Contact the city of Jordan's Public Works Department to inquire about permits in your area. If you are placing the container on private property, you won't need city permission. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
