Frequently Asked Questions

What can I put in a dumpster?

You can toss out most types of common household junk in our Carver dumpster rentals, as well as heavier debris like concrete, asphalt and brick. Appliances, mattresses, electronics and box springs are also accepted, but incur an additional per-item processing fee. There are also some prohibited items that can’t be thrown out in our roll off containers. This includes fluorescent light bulbs, paint, pesticides and other hazardous materials.

Can a dumpster sit on an incline?

Generally, dumpsters cannot be placed on steep slopes. If a slope is steep enough to need the parking brake on your car, it is too steep to place a container. When you call to rent a dumpster, we'll work with you to help you find the best place for your roll off container delivery. You’ll also need to clear the area of any obstructions, including cars, debris and equipment.

Will I need a permit for my dumpster rental?

If you want to keep your dumpster rental on the street, you will need a permit since it will be placed on public property. You can easily apply for a Right-of-Way permit online from the city of Carver. If you are placing the container on private property, you won't need a permit. If you have questions about where to place your dumpster or the permit application process, give our team a call.

How It Works

1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
