Should I cover my roll off dumpster if it rains?
You should cover your dumpster rental if you’re expecting storms during your cleanup. Cover it with a tarp secured with bungee cords or tie-down straps. This keeps debris dry and prevents standing water from pooling in the bin, which adds weight. Should I get a permit when I rent a dumpster?
You’ll need a Dumpster and Construction Equipment Permit from the city of Burlington before we can park your roll off dumpster in the street. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
