We accept most debris types, but you can never throw flammable or hazardous waste in our roll off containers. Other prohibited items include paint, gasoline, tires and railroad ties. These materials pose a safety concern in landfills and may damage your dumpster rental. If you have questions about anything we can’t take off your hands, give us a call.
Keep the roll off dumpster on a flat, paved surface close to where you’re working. For home projects, your driveway is usually the most convenient location. On construction sites, dumpsters should be set in a designated waste area set away from equipment and other potential obstacles. Street placement is also possible, but you might need permission from Michigan Township Services. When you call to rent a dumpster, we’ll recommend a suitable spot for delivery.
1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
